The following vendors have been suggested by either homeowners, other building vendors or the management company or are currently retained by the Association. The Association makes no warranties or representations whatsoever with regard to the quality of any vendor’s work and neither advocates nor recommends any individual vendor. Homeowners are cautioned to ensure that contractors have a current and valid contractor’s license and appropriate insurance. Homeowners will be held financially responsible for any damage caused to the building by any vendor performing services on their behalf.
Permits/Insurance/Mechanics Liens: The homeowner is responsible for ensuring that all applicable and legally required building and other permits are obtained prior to commencement of any Work. Any person providing services or materials will be required to confirm in writing to the Board on a form approved by the Board that they disclaim and waive any right to place any lien including a mechanics lien against the building and/or Association, confirm that they solely look to the homeowner for payment of any sums due to them and that they indemnify the building and/or the Association against any liability whatsoever arising from the planned work. Any person providing services must be a licensed contractor and maintain at least $1,000,000 general liability and personal injury insurance and provide evidence thereof to the satisfaction of the Board.
